NINE DOWN, 15 TO GO FOR MEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
 
Lausanne, Switzerland, May 29, 2017 - With six teams qualified this past weekend from Europe for the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship, 15 spots remain up for grabs for the next edition of the flagship FIVB tournament which will be jointly hosted by Italy and Bulgaria next year.
KAZAKHSTAN SECURE BERTH FOR 2018 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL ROUND QUALIFIERS
 
Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, May 29, 2017 - Kazakhstan stamped their authority over the Central Asian Zonal Qualification Tournament for the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship following their impressive 3-1 (27-25 21-25 25-19 25-14) victory over hosts Kyrgyzstan in their last match at the packed 1,000-seater Gazprom Gym in Bishkek on Sunday.
 
SIX WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP ENTRANTS EMERGE FROM EUROPE
 
Lausanne, Switzerland, May 28, 2017 - France, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Russia and Finland all claimed tickets to the 2018 FIVB Men's World Championship Sunday night, as Round 2 of the European qualifiers wound down with some amazing matches across the continent. Serbia had already claimed the first of the six available direct tickets on Saturday, with a day to spare in the competition.

Warsaw, Poland, May 28, 2017 - Rio 2016 Olympic silver medallists Serbia demolished Poland 3-0 (25-15, 25-16, 25-15) Sunday evening to claim the first ticket to the 2018 FIVB Women's World Championship in Japan after topping Pool B with a remarkable absolutely perfect record.

Lausanne, Switzerland, May 24, 2017 - Thirty-six teams will begin their 2017 FIVB Volleyball World League campaigns from June 2 to 4, with Finland taking on Slovenia in Group 2 Pool A2 in the first match on day one in Korea.

Colorado Springs, USA, May 27, 2017 - Less than a month after her split with Rio Olympic bronze medal partner April Ross, Kerri Walsh Jennings has announced that she and Nicole Branagh have entered a FIVB World Tour event in Croatia next month followed by scheduled stops in Switzerland and Austria.
